Emeco settles dispute with Restoration Hardware over Navy Chair copy

Source: http://www.dezeen.com/2013/01/30/emeco-settles-dispute-over-navy-chair-copy/

Emeco wins the dispute over a copy of a design they bought 50 years ago, which allows them to sell a chair (mainly to government agencies) at 6 times its reasonable market price.
A comment in the original article says it all: "The difference from 300 to 50 Euros is only Emeco's shareholders' profit, not Emeco's "commitment to quality". Thank God Penicillin was invented before some of these guys ever thought about buying the rights from its inventor or one dose would cost a lifetime's savings."
